1. IMAGINAI – TANGLISH MATE

Team IMAGINAI’s AI-powered translation model has made a huge impact by translating English into colloquial Tamil with a fun twist! Their focus on the casual, everyday version of the language makes AI feel more human and connected to the people. We’re beyond excited to see this model reshape conversations in Tamil-speaking communities.

2. Team Brainly Buddies – Tamil NLP Fine-Tuning

Cash Prize Won: 50,000

Brainly Buddies are truly setting the bar high with their fine-tuned TinyLLaMA model for Tamil NLP! By enhancing it to understand casual speech, sarcasm, and even Tanglish, they’ve brought AI closer to the way we really talk. This is a huge leap toward more relatable AI conversations, and we can’t wait to see where they go next! 

3. Team Janis – English to Colloquial Tamil Translator

Cash Prize Won: 50,000

Janis’s project tackles the challenge of translating English to colloquial Tamil, making the translation process more natural for casual conversations. By optimizing the model for real-world use, this project provides an effective solution for communication in Tamil.

4. Team Solution Seekers – English to Telugu Translator

Cash Prize Won: 25,000

The Solution Seekers have created a game-changing English-to-Telugu translation model! Their model offers more accuracy and relevance in translating the language, giving Telugu speakers an AI that truly understands their world. 

5. Team Sparkle – English to Tamil Colloquial Language Translator

Cash Prize Won: 25,000

Team Sparkle has made Tamil translations more relatable than ever! Their model converts English sentences into colloquial Tamil, not just formal language. This team’s hard work bridges the gap between the tech world and the everyday world of Tamil speakers, making AI more accessible. 

6. Team Smart Coders – English to Hindi Translation Assistant

Cash Prize Won: 25,000

Smart Coders developed an AI translation system that converts English into Hindi with a focus on accuracy and contextual correctness. Their model is tailored for practical, everyday use, including pre-built phrases and examples for efficient communication.

7. Team Data Wizards M6OKC – AI Model for Telugu Language Translation

Cash Prize Won: 25,000

Data Wizards M6OKC developed an AI model that translates English text into Telugu, bridging the language gap for Telugu-speaking communities. Their model ensures contextual accuracy, making it ideal for multilingual applications like chatbots and voice assistants.

8. Team Byte Sisters – Colloquial Hindi AI: Bridging Informal Conversations

Cash Prize Won: 25,000

Byte Sisters created a dataset and fine-tuned an AI model to improve colloquial Hindi translation, addressing gaps in current models. By incorporating regional slang and conversational nuances, their solution enhances the effectiveness of AI in real-world communication.

9. Team Simran – Colloquial AI: Enhancing English-Hindi Conversational Translation

10. Team Sparkling Buds – Colloquial Tamil Dataset through LLM

11. Team Bhoomi06 – English to Colloquial Hindi Translator

12. Team PDS Techies – Bhashini LLM Model Accuracy Enhancement

PDS Techies improved the Bhashini LLM by training it on a colloquial Hindi dataset, making the AI model more accurate and relatable for everyday conversations. Their model ensures a more natural and contextual translation for Hindi speakers.

13. Team 3Gen – AI-Powered English to Telugu Translation

14. Team Warrior – English to Hindi Colloquial Language Model

15. Team Zahh – Enhancing Bhashini LLM Model for Colloquial Hindi

22. Team Rashmi Rai – English to Hindi Translation

Rashmi Rai’s team focused on fine-tuning an AI model for Hinglish, the popular mix of Hindi and English. Their work improves real-world translation for daily communication, making it more suitable for the everyday language used by millions.

23. Team Aishwarya – English to Tamil Colloquial Translator

Aishwarya's model takes English and translates it into Tamil colloquial language, solving the problem of formal translations. By creating and training her own dataset, the project provides a more accurate and culturally relevant translation tool for everyday use.
